- Service-Related Data: Service address, contact number, and payment details (processed securely via Stripe) to facilitate bookings, payments, or job assignments for Customers and Helpers. Where sensitive information (e.g., payment details or service address) is collected, we obtain your explicit consent. For individuals under 15, we require parental consent.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and device information when you use our WordPress-hosted site with Elementor and WooCommerce plugins.
2. How We Collect Data
We use your data to:
- Process your registration and create your account in our logged-in portal for Customers and Helpers.
- Manage service bookings for Customers and assign jobs to Helpers, coordinated by Administrators.
- Process payments securely through Stripe for services rendered to Customers or payments to Helpers.
- Communicate with you regarding your account, bookings, job assignments, or support needs.
3. Purpose of Collection
We use your information to:
- Facilitate service delivery as outlined in Section 2.
- Share payment details with Stripe under data processing agreements compliant with the Privacy Act 1988 to process payments.
- Share service address and contact number with approved Helpers or Administrators to facilitate job assignments or service delivery, only with your explicit consent, manageable via your portal settings.
- Disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
- Improve our services through aggregated, de-identified data for analytics, in compliance with APP 6.
- Communicate updates or promotions with your consent, which you can withdraw by adjusting your preferences.
4. Data Security
We implement safeguards, including encryption and secure hosting, to protect your data. Our staff are trained in compliance standards, and we maintain public liability insurance to ensure your trust. We use industry-standard measures to protect against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. In the event of a data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) within 30 days as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill our services or comply with legal obligations; financial data is retained for 7 years, while other data is retained for 2 years post-service unless otherwise required by law.

- Approved Helpers and Administrators to deliver services, with your consent.

- Request deletion of your data where not required for legal or service purposes, processed within 30 days.

Data may be processed by Stripe or other providers in the USA or EU. We ensure Stripe is contractually bound to protect your data to a standard comparable to the APPs, and we remain accountable for any breaches under APP 8.1, in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988.
